A Little Further North.

Tuesday 1st September.

Another long haul today but a tad late leaving Letaba.

We had a slight incident in the middle of the night and were not functioning at top speed.

We did however have a call from Chris and we wouldn’t have had signal if we were on the road.

Amazing that our angel Sue (in Canberra) could make these things happen for us.She is headed for sainthood for the advocacy role she takes on behalf of foster carers.

Sightings were plentiful but no cats, dogs or spotties.

Three large herds of Buffalo were one of the highlights.

Another was two Tsessebe sitting under a tree in clear view of the road and not a single car stopped to look, even though we were obviously taking pics.

A sad sight for us was the remains of Alexander.

An interesting sight 32k north of Mopani was tourists alighting from their car to have a photo opportunity with some rangers.

We arrived at Shingwedzi  12-10 for a quick lunch.

Arrived at Punda at 3pm

We later met Su Mari and Ecojunkie as they were preparing for the Sunset drive
