Tamboti Tonight.

Monday 14th September

While our accommodation problems were being sorted we sat at the Talamati hide.

Talamati is another one of the hidden gems in Kruger.

There is only one spot in the camp where guests can access mobile phone coverage.

Midday we were advised that the new occupant of tent 33 at Tamboti was prepared to take another tent in the camp allowing us to have one night with easy access for Katie. We are ever so grateful to this person.

We were driving through the gates of Talamati to return to Orpen when the next visitor to the waterhole had us finding a photographic vantage point

Tamboti is/was all we had hoped for. Bush, animals, birds, insects……well maybe not so many insects, sounds and the smell.

We were saddened to hear that a leopard had been shot in the camp on Friday evening. You can find details and a discussion on the SanParks forum Here
