Monday 21st September.
Goodbye Lower Sabie.
Love the sunrises at Lower Sabie
Two of our tents.
It is a pity that we had several unwanted human visitors making themselves comfortable on Katie’s deck on 3 separate occasions.
One foursome sat at her table, and perhaps she should have offered them early morning coffee
Cane fields burning outside Crocodile Bridge.
We drove to Nelspruit on the motorway and had time for a quick breakfast before Katie had her medical appointment.
News was good for Katie and we headed back to Malelane minus one leg plaster.
Katie had acquired in its place a foot brace and brand new crutches.
We enjoyed a quick lunch at Malelane, picked up some water and avos and headed to Biyamiti.
We took a detour along the Berg en Dal road looking for lions that had been sighted earlier.
We found this spotty creature having an afternoon nap. The lions were a non event after this leopard
We had 90 minutes viewing in the morning and two hours in the afternoon and managed the big 5…..lion/rhino/buffalo/leopard/elephant.
