Wednesday 19th August
Today our trip to Robbin Island was cancelled and we made the decision to start the day on Table Mountain.
The queue was already long at 9.15 and we did not reach the top until 10.15
Spectacular views greeted us from every vantage point
Our next destination was Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope
We took the coast road and passing through Fish Hoek two voices from the rear of the van screeched WHALE.
There were probably 5 at the first sighting.
We continued to sight whales until Simons Town.
Cape point was next port of call followed by Cape of Good Hope.
Brook and Cam had been on the look out for baboons because they had seen the warning signs.
We finally came across a small troop before Simons Town on our way back to Cape Town.
Lets hope we can rebook our trip to Robbin Island for later in the week
Good to see you are doing more walking than eating today!!! Is it cold you guys are all rugged up?
